Ford's Colony - Blue Heron, Williamsburg, Virginia
The
longest of the three courses at Ford's Colony, Blue Heron is typical
Dan Maples -- gorgeous to look at, fun to play, yet difficult to
score on. The par-five fourth hole is considered the toughest on
the course with a meddlesome water hazard lurking behind a fairway
bunker off the tee to the right. This hazard will also force many
golfers to play it safe on their second shot which creates a tough
approach to a small, well-protected green.
