The Talon hosted the 1997 Andersen Consulting World Championship
of Golf and is a perfect example of desert golf. It has water on
only three holes; however, the par-3 17th has an island green that
you won't soon forget. It offers tremendous views of the desert
and surrounding foothills and should not be missed during a visit
to Arizona.
