Desert Falls Country Club, Palm Desert, California
Home of the Drysdale Hall of Fame Golf Classic, Desert Falls Country
Club challenges golfers of all skill levels. Known for its unique
site, one of the highest in the desert, Desert Falls Country Club
offers vistas of almost the entire Coachella Valley. Ranked among
the five toughest designs in the valley, its difficulty lies in
numerous strategically placed massive bunkers, a bounty of water
hazards and a series of demanding par-3's. The course is unique
in that it features three signature holes. The 3rd hole, a demanding
par-3 that plays 190 yards from the back tee to a massive 18,000
square foot green that is protected by bunkers front and back. The
9th hole, a risky par-5 that tempts long hitters to carry their
second shot over water to a double green shared by the third signature
hole, the par-4 18th, a tremendous finishing hole stretching out
to 470 yards from the tournament tee leading to the double green
well-protected by sand and water.
