Wild Wing - Falcon, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
In addition to the Avocet listed above, Wild Wing features three
more 18-hole championship course. The Falcon course is modern yet
traditional in style. Designed by Rees Jones, it features extensive
mounding and a 25-acre lake. Completing the 72-hole facility at
Wild Wing are two courses by Willard Byrd - Hummingbird and Wood
Stork. Hummingbird combines wetlands with stands of native grasses,
strategically placed lakes, open fairways, and an array of waste
bunkers. The slightly longer Wood Stork, offers open fairways that
play through both wetlands and a majestic forest.

| Course Reviews |
Rick Whear says:
I played all four of the courses at wild wing.I dont think you
could ask for a better combination of courses.I loved them all.Falcon
course ate my lunch, tiered greens require hitting the ball to
the right level of the green,or risk rolling off a downhill
putt. These courses are immaculate.By far the best of any other
I have played at myrtle beach.Although I have only played four
others. You will not regret playing here!!! |
