Glen Dornoch Waterway Links, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
As
a tribute to Donald Ross of Dornoch, Scotland, designer Clyde Johnston
has created Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links, a traditional course
that uses the natural terrain of this 270-acre site along the Intracoastal
Waterway. Johnston's use of lakes, live oaks, and the surrounding
marsh and river make the course as enjoyable to play as it is to
look at. From the back tees, players find the layout to be as tough
as there is in Myrtle Beach. However, with four more sets of tees
you can make it as long as you'd like.
