Port Royal - Robber's Row, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Robber's Row, a traditional favorite, has recently undergone a
major renovation under the direction of renowned golf course architect,
Pete Dye. Throughout the front nine, a total of 43 bunkers were
either added, moved or reshaped. Robber's Row is located on the
marsh side of Port Royal Resort, atop what were once Civil War grounds
and the historic town of Port Royal, winding through beautiful Magnolia
and Live Oak trees. In fact, one of the truly unique aspects is
that each golfer gets a brief history lesson on each hole. Although
tee-shot landing areas are generous, approach shots require accuracy
to the well-bunkered, undulating greens
