Old South, Bluffton, South Carolina
Clyde Johnston designed Old South while preserving the natural
beauty of the land. Seven marsh-front holes, three island greens,
towering live oaks, and rolling terrain helped to make this one
of Golf Digest's "Top 10 New Public Courses" in 1992.
With such a variety of terrain, you'll feel as if you've played
a number of courses during one round. The course truly puts an emphasis
on shot selection, so you'll have to think your way around. Along
with its sister course, Old Carolina, this is a great selection
for a 36-hole day. Located just one mile before the Hilton Head
Bridge.
