Ponce De Leon Hotel, Golf & Conf. Center, St Augustine, FL
You'll
never run out of things to do at St. Augustine's only complete resort.
Most importantly, the golf course at Ponce de Leon was designed
by one of the most renowned course designers of all time, Donald
Ross. He was commissioned by Henry Flager in 1916 to build the club
for vacationers from the north. Weathering extremely well through
the test of time, the course remains a testimony to Ross' genius.
In addition to great golf, the resort also features six all-weather
tennis courts, an oversized pool, sand-court volleyball, shuffleboard,
horseshoes, croquet, and an 18-hole putting green. Just a short
drive away you'll also find the historic district of St. Augustine
(the nation's oldest city) and 24 miles of beaches. With three delectable
restaurants (Fairways Grill, Bogie's Lounge, and Mulligan's), the
Ponce De Leon Golf & Conference center has something to satisfy
every appetite and taste.
