World Woods - Rolling Oaks, Homosassa, Florida
This
dynamic golf club features two Tom Fazio-designed masterpieces.
Pine Barrens is highly ranked by Golf Digest and has received numerous
accolades such as "Florida's Pine Valley" and the "best
new course in Florida." This tight intimidating layout, with
its large amount of pine trees and barren waste areas, is reminiscent
of North Carolina terrain. Likened to Augusta National, Rolling
Oaks offers a brilliant sequence of holes framed by giant moss-draped
oaks, dogwoods, magnolias, exposed limestone, and cavernous bunkers.
Both courses are excellent examples of Fazio's special architectural
talent and are among the very best Florida has to offer.

Jack W. Armstrong says:
Drive 90 minutes from Orlando and play this course.. Great conditioning,
scenery, SECLUSION, design. Best course under $100 you will
play. Back nine rather challenging, front nine a little gentler.

November. |
