Walden Lake - Hills, Plant City, Florida

Info Restrictions Reviews Book A Tee Time

Located 25 minutes east of Tampa in Plant City, with easy access off I-4, this facility features two championship courses originally designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ron Garl. Both layouts, the Hills and the Lakes, provide quality, affordable golf. Meadowbrook Golf Group, who also runs ChampionsGate and many other Central Florida courses, does an excellent job maintaining lush fairways and large, easy-to-hit greens. Now regarded as one of the veteran popular golf complexes in the area, Walden Lake is a quality facility in every way. Ask about special rates after 12 noon.

Course Reviews
Mike says:
Played the Hills course. Layout is on the short side, but some interesting holes. The greens were a definite disappointment. Lack of grass made for poor putting.

SCOTT BLAIR SAYS...
Played this course in the afternoon, after the Lakes course in the AM. Despite some rain, was not a problem with soggy fairways. Plays a bit short - not as pretty as the Lakes course. Fairly nice overall.
