Sarasota Golf Club, Sarasota, Florida
Although remodeled in 1996, Sarasota Golf Club is one of the area's
oldest courses. Dating from 1950, much of the original design is
still felt through 18 holes, but the course now plays just under
7000 yards from the tips. Along the way, players find a numerous
hazards to contend with including water on six holes. Even with
its length, this is a great selection for first-day golf with forgiving
drive areas.
