The
Copperhead Course at Innisbrook is considered one of the best resort
courses in the country (as rated by Golf Digest) and is host to
the new Tampa Bay Classic, a PGA Tour event. The par-71 course plays
over 7,200 yards from the Tournament tees and is a very stern test
of golf with terrific greens. The course is best characterized by
its tree-lined fairways and rolling natural setting. It's actually
more reminiscent of a Carolina layout than its location on Florida's
West Coast.
