The original course, Flamingo Island, is a spectacular design by
Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It has twice been called "America's
Best" by Golfweek and has received the prestigious Four-star
award from Golf Digest. Just 10 minutes south of Naples, Lely Resort
is definitely worth playing, whether staying in Naples or Ft. Myers.
