Grand Palms, Pembroke Pines, Florida
Redesigned
by Ward Northrup, Grand Palms is 25 minutes southwest of Ft. Lauderdale
in Pembroke Pines. This golf resort consists of 27 holes: the Grand,
the Royal, and the Sabal, and all three nines are maintained in
superb condition year round. While fairways are open and gently
rolling, sculptured Tifdwarf Bermuda greens ensure fast, smooth
putting surfaces.

Dennis Thieroff SAYS...
We were greatly disappointed when my group played this course
in 2003. There was nothing wrong with the layout, course conditions
or cost of playing there. The only problem would be the members
of the club. They were just plain uncivil and ignorant. I have
never seen such behavior anywhere we have traveled. The "members"
seem to enjoy berating and otherwise mistreating the employees
there. It didn't matter if it was in the pro shop or in the
dining area. They were simply ignorant and beyond shame. We
will never play there again. |
