Don Shula's Golf Club, Miami Lakes, Florida
The
regulation 18 at Don Shula's Golf Club is one of those courses that
just seems to get better as you play your way around. The first
few holes are fairly open and not overly difficult. However, things
start to get more difficult as you get through the middle of the
front side. By the time you make it to the 11th green, you'll know
that you're in for a real dogfight. The fairways on the back get
tight and there's water on just about every hole. All in all, it's
a very enjoyable course from start to finish.
The club also features an executive 18-hole par-three course that
is a delight to play. Completing the facility, the practice area
is lighted and open until 11:00 pm. It features both grass and mat
tees to accommodate varying weather conditions.

Owen reed SAYS...
Played the course twice the middle of Sept 2002. Good condition
not too difficult. Little better than a typical resort course.

Edward Corbitt SAYS...
The course was great! The greens are unbelievable (very fast)!
We played the course three days in a row from different tee's...It
was like playing three different courses! We are already planning
our next trip to Shula's. |
