Always
in fantastic condition, Deer Creek has been voted "Best Course
in Broward County" by the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel's CityLink
Magazine. Completely redesigned by noted architect Arthur Hills,
many locals consider the greens to be the absolute best in the area.
This extraordinary 7000-yard layout is perfectly maintained year-round
with water on nine holes and large oaks surrounding the course.
David Woodring says:
Deer Creek is a beautiful golf course. I have been to Ft Lauderdale
on several golfing trips and played alot of courses in the area.
Head and Shoulders above everyone else. It's been 3 years since
me and my buddies have played there and we're still talking
about it. We'll be back in the Spring of 2002 to play it again.
Whatever the fee it's worth it.
David Woodring says:
Just got back from playing Deer Creek in March 2002, this place
hasn't changed. It's a beautiful golf course, they seem to take
care of all the little things there, ie, spike cleaners on the
tee boxes, great GPS system, distances marked where you can
find them, played 5 courses on our trip including Doral Gold
Course, no comparsion, Deer Creek has them by 1 a mile Very
friendly atmosphere, will be back again.
Dennis Thieroff SAYS...
My group made our first trip to the area in late February-early
March of 2003. We played nine different courses. For this year's
trip, we are playing three repeat courses and one of them is
Deer Creek. This was a more than pleasant surprise in that the
conditions were superior to all others. We pay a premium to
play here, but it is worth it. This may be the best course that
I have played anywhere and is worth the price. It is a superb
layout and one can tell that playability is most important to
their management. This is a "must play" to anyone
planning a trip to the Fort Lauderdale area.
