Designed
in 1972 by architects Devlin/Von Hagge, this championship course
is maintained to perfection with fast, true greens and contoured
fairways. It was redesigned in 1990 by Karl Litten and has played
host in the past to the PGA Tour's Honda Classic Qualifier. This
interesting layout features a great combination of both open and
tight fairways with water on 17 of 18 holes! Located in Margate,
20 minutes northwest of Ft. Lauderdale.

don says:
Carolina Club is a decent test of sofla golf, but its a "B"
level compared to the better courses. Condos on many holes,
its challenging but not memorable.
Dennis Thieroff SAYS...
This course is one that my group played in 2003 and booked again
in 2004. Of the nine courses we played in 2003 we are replaying
only three this year and the Carolina Club is one of them. This
may not be a premier course, but is definitely a good bargain
for the money. One of the reasons is that layout design, yardage
books or greens fees do not have any indication of how wonderful
the people are who work there. Everyone that we encountered
there was unbelievably personable and helpful. This can be just
as important to a customer as the course itself. Also, they
have a terrific restaraunt on site. We had a wonderful meal
there and it is a stunning facility.
