Ponce de Leon, St. Augustine, Florida
Enjoy
a game of traditional golf and relive a piece of history as you
play the first golf course in Florida. Donald Ross designed the
course in 1916 for wealthy guests of the Flagler family. Play along
the scenic front nine with ocean breezes off the Intracoastal Waterway
creating a Scottish "links" feel to the course. Then make
the turn to majestic, century-old, moss-laden live oak and magnolia
trees outlining the "Old South" back nine. Today, the
course that challenged Sam Snead and many other golfing greats is
ready to challenge you!

Tom Wood says:
Great classic course that made me feel like I was at home in
Ireland. Condition of the gold course was excellent. We all
had a great time and were well taken care of by the staff. It
is a must play for everyone that loves classic Donald Ross designs
and playing in a natural setting with massive Oak trees along
the intra coastal waterway. Don't miss it!! |
Sara Struebing says:
The golf course is a great Donald Ross course. It is a must
to play. The condition of the course was perfect. The service
and staff were very friendly and accomodating. We felt at home
and as members of their club. We had a wonderful time and would
definately come back. |
