Twin Rivers, Oviedo, Florida
This
Joe Lee track is a classic Central Florida design with tight fairways,
water on 13 holes, and well-trapped greens. The elevated greens
are tough to hit and full of tricky undulations, which make it difficult
to get it "up and down." Although the course is set within
the Ekana community, you'll forget there are homes nearby as you
play through a natural landscape of environmentally protected wetlands.
The course is located near the cozy town of Oviedo, just 20 minutes
northeast of downtown Orlando. Owned and professionally managed
by Meadowbrook Golf Group.

day combination play on Twin Rivers, Sabal Point CC and Winter Springs
GC.

John Huether says:
This course was in great shape. It is in a beautiful setting
and is well-cared fro. The holes have good variety and are challenging.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. I played 36 holes and
they were very supportive. We will definitely go back to Twin
Rivers. The 7th island hole is easier with the front bunkers
filled in but still a challenge. the setting with its wildlife...eagles,
osprey, alligators etc. makes it easy to be distracted from
your game...but an enjoyable distraction. the second and 13th
par fives are fun to play. We would recommend this golfing experience
in a great natural area. |
JOHN OWENS says:
overall the couse was in great shape. the gps was like having
your on caddy. will play again in the near future. |
Jeff Smith SAYS...
Just played this course last week (April)and we were very disappointed.
The course was in bad shape especially the greens. They were
very 'wooly' with bad sand patches on them which made it look
like they had bunkers on the greens! The course has such a nice
setting (apart from the road holes) it's a shame they are not
maintaining it to a better standard. We would not return. |
