Just
minutes from the Kennedy Space Center, the Gordon Lewis design at
Savannahs winds through a majestic forest and several scenic lakes.
The seventh hole, noted as one of the most scenic holes on Florida's
East Coast, commands a well-deserved score as it tees off over a
lake towards a two-tiered green with water on both sides. The back
nine is a little more forgiving than the front with wider fairways
and less water. Make sure to ignore the parrot on #16 who often
cheers good shots, but seems to snicker at the not-so-good ones.

Ray Norman SAYS...
Savannahs is one of my favorite courses. Played many times from
all tees which accompany all skill levels. Annual Retired Military
Golf Classic enjoys excellent support. Space Coast High School
Invitational an annual event-highly successful.
Bill SAYS...
Don't be fooled by the pictures. In recent months the course
has gone downhill as far as the condition it's in. And be sure
not to play after it rains, the drainage system needs to be
replaced to get the water out of this swampy area. The layout
of the course is great. A good course for an afternoon with
nothing to do.
