Orange Co. National-Crooked Cat, Orlando, Florida
16301
Phil Ritson Way
Winter Garden, Orlando,
Florida 34787
Joining Panther Lake is its sister course, Crooked Cat. Also Hosting
the 2003 PGA TOUR Q-SCHOOL FINALS - this course must be played while
in Orlando! Also awarded 4.5 stars by Golf Digest's "PLACES
TO PLAY" for the 4th straight year, this 7,277-yard course
has a distinct "links" flavor through its open, flowing
design. This course features few trees, wide terraced fairways and
native redtop heather grass in the rough giving it a Scottish feel.
As with Panther Lake, if you are serious about golf, why play anywhere
else?

| Course Reviews |
Phillip Mathers says:
I played the Panther Lake course back in Feb of 99 and thought
it was the best golf I had exerienced in Orando. I played both
Panther Lake and Crooked Cat courses this time around (Mar 01)
and was very impressed how each course presents a totally different
flavor and variety. Superior layout and course conditioning!
Kudos for both courses- 2 must play courses while in Orlando! |
Harry L. SAYS...
Played on Jan. 1/03. A1 all around. Course is in excellent condition,
staff is very friendly, food is excellent, practice facilities
incomparable. Will play here everytime I visit Orlando. If you
are using mapquest to get directions, don't. It is wrong and
will lead you to the boonies. |
Marty McClune SAYS...
Four of us played this course, we are all about 18 handicaps.
We all really liked this course, thought it gave us enough of
a challenge without being ridiculous. Nice greens |
Art Flanagan SAYS...
our foursome played this course on 3/3/03 and we all enjoyed...course
conditions on Crooked Cat were great...facility very remote
and without distractions...worth a return trip |
Marty McClune SAYS...
What can you say about these 2 courses but "Magnificent".
These are real golf courses, a pleasure to play. A great golf
facility with a great pro shop. These are the only golf courses
I have replayed in 5 years coming back to Orlando. |
